Being a Grammar Nazi for A Day

On a daily basis, I am definitely not a grammar nazi. And since I spend a lot of time on Twitter, I am pretty used with slangs and common idioms that people nowadays use. People don't really pay attention to their grammar (considering the tweet limit is 140 character, sometimes we gotta compress the written words to fit into them). And also we interact in such a casual situation, so who cares? (Anyway a grammar nazi will be bullied there.)

And to point out some of them:

1. Subject-Verb Agreement Errors

The subject and verb of a sentence must agree with one another in number whether they are singular or plural. If the subject of the sentence is singular, its verb must also be singular; and if the subject is plural, the verb must also be plural.

e.g:
The OP wrote needs after the word Armys which is a plural subject. So the correct way to write them is: Armys need to stop being naive--

2. Misusing The Apostrophe With “Its”

You use an apostrophe with it’s only when the word means it is or it has. Without the apostrophe, its means belonging to it.
e.g:
The word its is supposed to be written as it's.

3. Missing Comma After Introductory Element

A comma should be used after an introductory word, phrase, or clause. This gives the reader a slight pause after an introductory element and often can help avoid confusion.
e.g:
To avoid confusion in this tweet, we can correct it to: In case you haven't noticed, my phone automatically-

4. Whom vs Who

Who and whom are both pronouns. Who is used to give further information about a person or people previously mentioned in a sentence. Whom is used in formal English instead of who as the object of a verb or preposition. People often mistaken the use of this word.
e.g:

5. No Comma In A Compound Sentence

A comma separates two or more independent clauses in a compound sentence separated by a conjunction. The comma goes after the first clause and before the coordinating conjunction that separates the clauses.
e.g:
Considering the sentence is pretty long and complicated, I think that we should put commas in the right places to avoid any misunderstanding:
The day Jung Hoseok gets a girl, y'all best believe that I'm throwing a party, because that's the day I know that bright ball of sunshine has someone in his life that is putting the big *** smile he puts on my face on his, and I'll love and respect her for that.
Please kindly leave a feedback in the comment section below (and also your blog link so I can check them up). Thank you.
